When we allow ourselves to lift God higher than our circumstances we magnify Him which positions us to focus in on how He is already working it out for us. God is aware of the trials and tribulations that come in our lives. Nevertheless it can not separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:31-39 reassures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. In truth, God came in the human person of Jesus to save us with His redeeming love. It is His love that saves us from life’s problems as He elevates us higher into His presence where there is peace that passes human understanding. The peace of knowing that He is working it out.
When we submit our prayers to God we awaken our awareness of His presence and His loving grace. When we allow ourselves to praise God in spite of our situation, we invite Him in to our situation to move the mountains in our life and cause the walls of confusion, defeat, frustration, fear, pity to fall. He reveals to us how He is making a way for us to come out of the limits and boundaries of our situation as He elevates us in a higher revelation of how to win. This truth is relevant to every area of our life. Like Travis Greene says in His song, “Made A Way” God makes away for us to win in love because this is the essence of who He is. He is our good Father, He is our Savior, He is our Redeemer, He is our confidant. In truth, He is what ever our situation demands Him to be when we put our trust in Him. He is the “The Great I Am”.
The word of God reassures us that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). God’s riches in glory is His grace and truth. John 8:32 tells us we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free! When we magnify God’s instead of magnifying the problem by focusing on the problem, we empower Him to lead us to the truth that sets us free.
Trials, tribulations, unfavorable life situations come to test our faith to stop our faith. The word of God tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God because we must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). God does not desire us to seek Him because He wants to control in order to suppress and depress us. Contrary to that deception, God desires us to diligently seek Him because He desires us to experience His saving grace and love as we come to know Him intimately. He is our good Father.
So whether you are going through life storms right now or whether you are at peace, desire to lift God Higher every moment of the day. He desires to be in relationship with you as He reveals Himself to you as “The Great I Am”.
