What we do with our time reflects the desires of our heart. Our life is an accumulation of what we decided was important in our life. Sometimes this does not line up with God’s will and sometimes this lines up with God’s will. Often times, we do not know the consequences that we will reap when we decide to do things outside of God’s will until it happens. However, God desires for us to be lead by His thoughts, feelings, desires and will so He can protect us from the consequences of choosing our own way. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust God and lean not to our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our path. He desires to direct our path towards His manifested promises in our life and away from the manifested curses in life.
Our journey of faith is a window of opportunity that is our time of opportunity to be perfected in the image and likeness of God’s plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). Our journey of faith is a journey of us getting closer to the heart of God so He can reside on the throne of our heart. The word of God tells us in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must first believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Our journey of faith is a journey of learning to be diligent in our pursuit of knowing God intimately through relationship and fellowship.
In our pursuit of God, we must know that He rewards all who diligently seek Him. When we seek Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength we are diligently pursuing Him first in our life. When we seek Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength we show Him that we love Him with all that we are and all that we have, which fulfills the first commandment found in Mark 12:30 to Love God with our everything as well as Deuteronomy 4:29.
We have assurance that every time we seek God with our everything, He will reward our diligence as He purifies our heart and give us the desires of our heart. Our work is not in vein whenever we choose to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. His word stands true in Matthew 6:33 when He tells us all these things will be added to us when we seek Him first. You may ask why do we have to seek His love. The truth is that God’s love is not only in us, but all around us. We must seek Him to remove the veil of sin that has been placed on futile minds so we can discern God’s presence at work in our lives.
When we use every opportunity to seek God with all that we are, He rewards us with all that He is. We will become aware of our authentic identity in Christ, where God has created us to be in daily communication with Him, protecting us from what desires to kill, steal and destroy the blessing of His presence in our life. Our heart, mind, spirit and body only becomes awaken when we seek God with all that we are and all that we have on our journey of faith.
When we embrace the power, love and sound mind we have been given we will maximize on every opportunity to love God with all that we are and realize the power, love and sound mind He gives us is our opportunity to overcome every life challenge, situation, circumstance that wants to keep us from the joy of the Lord Who is our strength. Romans 8:22 tells us that all creation has groans and labors with birth pangs until now waiting for the redemption of our body. God has the power to redeem our spiritual and physical bodies on earth as we walk our journey of faith towards accomplishing our desired goals in life. When we honor God with our time, He creates opportunities that are purposed to be a blessing and not a burden in life.
