Prayer is a two-way communication process. In petition prayer, we ask God and He answers. Based on how God answers is how we respond in belief through our actions (James 1:22). Our actions is how we work the faith we hear, manifesting the grace and truth of God that sets us free. Whenever we pray, we should have the expectation of God responding to our prayer when our prayer is in agreement with His will (1 John 5:14-15). God will always respond to our prayers with His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). God riches is not the same as the world riches that is rooted in a buy, sell and trade system. God’s economy is rooted in the richness of His glory that is full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
When we understand God’s grace and truth we have encountered the excellence of His wisdom (Proverbs 8). The word of God tells us in Proverbs 8:35, “For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord. The wisdom of God is the life of God that attracts the favor of God. The favor of God is secured by God when we know the will of God. We understand the will of God when we know the thoughts and ways of God that is rooted in His revelation. God’s revealed word goes before us securing our victory so we can walk in the way of His revealed word, better known as faith and receive what faith has revealed. This is when we encounter the faith that makes us whole.
John 4:24 tells us God is Spirit and those who worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Prayer is a spiritual work that allows us to seek God’s presence as we worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Prayer reveals God’s will while allowing us to align our desires with His will. When our desires are aligned with His will and we walk out His will, our faith becomes evident to us as well as those who are in relationship with us.
